Today I tried to make Oreo truffles from a recipe. In the past, I just put Oreos in the food processor and a little bit of cream cheese until it all come together.
Well, today I decided to actually look up a recipe for them....what a mistake! The recipe said to use 16 oz of Oreos and 8 oz of cream cheese. So I did... and it turned out to be a gooy, greasy mess. In order to "fix" them enough to be able to roll into balls, I ended up adding another whole 16 oz pkg of Oreos.
They are in the freezer now, hoping that they firm up enough to dip in chocolate.Keep your fingers crossed:)
